We’re looking for a skilled and creative Video Editor who specializes in cutting short-form UGC-style ads for e-commerce brands.
You’ll receive raw footage from creators and turn it into high-converting ad creatives for
This is a long-term, full-time position for someone who understands how to make scroll-stopping videos that sell.
Responsibilities
Edit 5–10 short-form videos per day (9:16 and 1:1 formats)
Combine multiple creator clips into dynamic, story-driven ads
Add captions, transitions, effects, and sound design for engagement
Match pacing, style, and rhythm to platform best practices (FB, IG, TikTok)
Implement hooks, subtitles, and CTAs based on creative briefs
Organize and name files properly for efficient workflow
Communicate with the team for feedback and quick iterations
Follow ad performance insights to continuously improve editing style
Workflow Explanation
You will receive:
Scripts (in German) from the Creative Strategist
Raw video scenes organized in folders from the UGC Manager
Your task:
Translate the German script into English (or your own language) using ChatGPT if needed
Understand the flow and match each part of the script with the right video scenes
Edit and assemble the video according to the German script structure
Ensure pacing, hook, and message stay true to the original storyline
Requirements
Minimum 1 year of experience editing UGC or ad-style videos
Proficient with CapCut, Premiere Pro, or DaVinci Resolve
Understanding of
Strong storytelling sense — knows how to make boring clips feel alive
Fast turnaround time and reliable communication
Organized and able to work independently
Full-time availability (40h/week)
Stable internet connection
Nice to Have
Experience editing E-Commerce ads or working with DTC brands
Familiarity with performance-driven content (CTR, watch time, ROAS)
Basic understanding of ad scripting and structure (Hook ? Problem ? Solution ? CTA)
