Podcast Audio & Video Editor (Contract/Freelance to Full-Time Growth)

We are looking for a highly skilled and committed Podcast Audio and Video Editor to join our growing team. This role is a long-term opportunity, starting as a high-volume contractor role with the potential to grow into a dedicated full-time position as our business expands.

About the Role
You will be responsible for taking raw podcast recordings and transforming them into polished, professional, and engaging content for all major podcast and social media platforms. This is a crucial role for our team, and we are looking for someone who is as invested in the quality of the final product as we are.

Key Responsibilities & Deliverables
The ideal candidate will manage the end-to-end post-production process, including:

Comprehensive Editing: Performing both audio clean-up/mastering and video editing for full-length podcast episodes.

Asset Creation:

Creating engaging short-form video clips (Reels/Shorts/TikToks) from the long-form content.

Designing compelling thumbnail graphics for video platforms.

Supplying accurate transcripts for each episode.

Quality & Collaboration: Consistently submitting high-quality, error-free first drafts within agreed-upon deadlines (sometimes requiring a 24-hour turnaround).

Team Integration: Actively participating in tea ---------- etings and being comfortable using our project management tool, ClickUp.

Required Skills & Experience (The MUST-HAVES)

Multi-cam editing experience

Strong wi-fi is a MUST (please do not apply otherwise, we will request a LIVE test)

Proven, professional-level expertise in audio and video editing.

Proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro is non-negotiable.

The ability to accept constructive criticism and collaborate effectively with the team to finalise work.

A portfolio of at least FIVE full podcast episodes (audio and video) you have personally edited.

Bonus Points
Experience creating professional intros and outros (including any necessary motion graphics or sound design, more than just adding b'roll).

Prior experience creating and optimising content specifically for short-form social media (e.g., TikTok, Instagram Reels).

Availability is Key: You must be available and willing to take on work immediately and have the flexibility to make edits and amends throughout the workday as needed by our team.
