Operations Manager – E-Commerce (Remote)

Full-Time | Remote | Shopify | Ops Support

About the Role

We’re looking for a highly organized, proactive Operations Manager to support the day-to-day operations of our Shopify-based e-commerce store and help drive overall business performance.

You’ll work across order management, supplier coordination, customer support, and light marketing to keep everything running smoothly. If you thrive in a fast-paced, remote environment and love making systems more efficient, we’d love to meet you.

Compensation

- Base Pay: $3/hour (Possibly $4 an hour depending on experience)
- Performance-Based Commission: 5% of net gross profit per sale

Real Earnings Examples

- Highest Commission Paid on One Order: $265. ---------- Total Commission (YTD): $1, ---------- Total Commission (so far): $538

As we scale to $100K+ per month in sales, you can realistically earn $500–$1,000+/month in commission on top of your hourly pay.

Annual Earnings Potential: $12,000+

Based on $100K/month in sales (currently getting close to $20K/month), you can earn over $12,000/year through base pay + performance bonuses — with the potential to grow this even further as our ad efficiency improves and organic sales increase.

This is a long-term opportunity for someone who wants to grow with the business and have their performance directly impact their pay.

What You’ll Do

- Fulfill customer orders and monitor delivery timelines
- Communicate with suppliers to confirm product availability and shipping
- Maintain and optimize product listings on Shopify
- Follow up with leads and support outreach efforts via email or other channels
- Keep trackers, logs, and dashboards up to date
- Respond to customer support inquiries and resolve issues quickly
- Coordinate with shipping partners to ensure on-time delivery
- Send pitches to media outlets for PR opportunities
- Manage and post AI-generated video content
- Support backlink building and marketing outreach
- Assist with product launches, promotions, and seasonal planning
- Continuously look for ways to streamline workflows and improve efficiency
- Handle other cross-functional tasks as needed across operations and marketing

What We’re Looking For

- Proven experience in e-commerce operations, especially within Shopify
- Strong understanding of order fulfillment, customer support, and supplier communication
- Comfortable using spreadsheets, project management tools, and CRMs
- Clear and responsive communicator — written and verbal (10/10 english)
- Organized and self-motivated — able to manage multiple priorities independently
- Problem-solver mindset — you find issues before they become problems

- Customer inquiries are handled quickly and professionally
- Supplier and shipping communications are smooth and efficient
- Systems and trackers are consistently updated and reliable
