Land Comping Specialist (US Real Estate Investment Firm)

HIRING: LAND COMPING SPECIALIST (US REAL ESTATE INVESTMENT FIRM)

Pay: $850–$1,300 USD per month (based on experience and accuracy)
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:30 AM – 5:00 PM CST
Location: Remote | Full-time only

We’re Higher Ground Land, a U.S. real estate investment company that buys and sells vacant land nationwide.
We close multiple deals each week. Every deal depends on accurate land comps.

=> THE ROLE
We’re hiring an experienced Land Comper / Underwriter to research and value U.S. land properties.

Your job is to analyze 20–25 properties per day and give confident, accurate pricing that helps us buy profitably.

If your comps are wrong, we lose deals. If they’re right, the company wins.
You’ll work directly with our acquisitions team and report to the Director of Acquisitions.

=> MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES
-Research and comp 20+ land properties per day using Zillow, Redfin, ---------- , LandInsights, and GIS tools

-Check access, slope, utilities, flood zone, zoning, and lot shape before recommending prices


-Determine market value for each property


-Keep accurate notes and pricing data in Google Sheets and CRM

-Flag subdivide or development potential when found

-Communicate daily with the acquisitions team and complete all comps before deadlines

=> REQUIREMENTS
-1+ year experience comping or underwriting vacant land for a U.S. company
-Proven ability to handle 15–25+ comps per day
-Strong English communication and attention to detail
-Reliable computer, dual-monitor setup, and internet (10 Mbps+)
-Familiar with Zillow, Redfin, County GIS, Google Earth
-Comfortable using Slack and CRMs (GoHighLevel, LeadBoss, or similar)
-Available full-time, 40 hrs/week, Monday–Friday (CST)

-Experience in high-volume land companies
-Familiar with Land ID or similar parcel tools
-Experience calling counties or agents for missing data
