Scheduler and Dispatch Coordinator

Morcrete works for high production home builders in Clark County, Washington with a focus on residential concrete flatwork. Concrete flatwork typically consists of pouring Garages, Porches, Patios, Driveways, and Sidewalks for residential homes in a new construction neighborhood.

Job Description:

Working with the company President and Foreman, you will be responsible for ordering concrete, scheduling customer work, dispatching field crews to do the work, and communicating with onsite customer representatives with the title of Superintendent.

The role requires availability Monday - Friday, between the hours of 7:00 am to as late as 5 pm Pacific Time, typically with open time mid-day. Daily Tasks include:
Daily Concrete Phone Orders
Maintaining and Updating a 21 day customer schedule
Dispatching field crews for the next days work
Communicating with customer site superintendents

Responsibilities:

Maintain and update work schedule
Make and answer phone calls and send text messages to staff and site superintendents
Communicate changes, delays, special instructions to the team
Stay organized and proactive with updates

Requirements:

Excellent spoken and written English (you will be on the phone and texting daily)
Spanish a plus but not required
Availability Monday - Friday between the hours of 7:00 am - 4:00 pm Pacific Time
Proficient in Google Docs and Sheets
Computer with reliable internet access and a quite working environment
Detail-oriented and self motivated
Prior experience in construction, logistics, or scheduling a plus

Hours and Rate
5 hours per day and 25 hours per week initially, some days may be less and some more, expected to grow into a full time role.
