Reels Video Editor

We’re looking for a dedicated Reels Video Editor who works exclusively in the “Edits” app (formerly Edits by Instagram).
This position is for editors who already know how to efficiently produce clean, professional, and color-graded Reels directly inside the Edits app — no CapCut, no Premiere, no other tools.

You’ll be editing simple, visually polished real estate content from both drone and camera footage. Each project includes roughly 8 minutes of raw footage, and the deliverables are:
    •    1–2 minute drone edit
    •    1–2 minute camera edit

No music syncing or heavy transitions are required — just clean cuts, smooth flow, and professional color grading.

Responsibilities
    •    Edit 30–90 short-form real estate videos per month exclusively in the Edits app
    •    Cut down raw 8-minute clips into 1–2 minute final edits
    •    Remove repetitive or unusable footage for a natural flow
    •    Apply consistent color correction and grading for a bright, luxury look
    •    Deliver vertical format (1080x1920) videos optimized for Instagram Reels
    •    Maintain consistent quality and meet deadlines

Strict Requirements
    •    You must use the “Edits” app for all editing and exporting — no exceptions
    •    You must already be familiar with the app’s export tools and workflow
    •    Deliverables will be reviewed for visual quality, consistency, and compliance with our export settings (see below)

All final videos must match these exact settings to ensure consistent quality across our content:

Video Format:
    •    Resolution: 1080p (High Definition)
    •    Frame Rate: 60 FPS (smooth playback)
    •    Aspect Ratio: 9:16 (vertical)
    •    Bitrate / Code Rate: Recommended – mid-to-high range
    •    HDR: Enabled (Smart HDR On)
    •    AI Ultra HD: Off
    •    Optical Flow: Off
    •    Export Type: AI UHD (or equivalent “High Quality” mode)

Additional Notes:
    •    Final export size should remain optimized — do not exceed ~4–5 MB per file
    •    No music or sound — deliver clean, silent footage only
    •    Ensure smooth playback and balanced lighting throughout
    •    Files must be ready to upload directly to Instagram Reels

Compensation
    •    $10 per completed edit (1–2 minutes each)
    •    30–90 edits per month, depending on speed and quality
    •    Consistent long-term work for reliable editors who meet export standards
