Google & Meta Ads Portfolio Lead (Contract/Part-Time)

Role summary
Own strategy and day-to-day management across Google Ads and Meta Ads for a multi-account portfolio. Lead ~10 Google Ads accounts, manage Meta campaigns for eCommerce-leaning clients, and deliver clear reporting with commentary across 20+ clients. Combined monthly ad spend is ~$30k across accounts.

Key responsibilities
Set channel strategy and run hands-on management for Google Ads (Search, PMAX, Shopping, remarketing).
Strategise and manage Meta Ads (campaign structure, audiences, budgets, placements, optimisation). No design or copywriting required; provide clear briefs to creative.
Monthly reporting with commentary and next steps across 20+ clients; maintain pacing and forecasts against $30k/month budget.
eCommerce performance management: product feeds, Merchant/Commerce Manager health, conversion value signals, ROAS/MER targets.
QA tracking and attribution (GA4, GTM, conversion actions, UTMs); align offers and landing pages with campaign goals.
Maintain a test roadmap across both platforms (audiences, assets, bidding, exclusions, PMAX asset groups).
Communicate progress, risks, and priorities clearly; collaborate with designers, copywriters, and account managers.

Must-haves
Proven multi-account experience in Google Ads and Meta Ads from strategy to optimisation and reporting.
Strong written insights and commentary in reports; confident stakeholder comms.
eCommerce experience (Shopping/PMAX, catalogues, feed hygiene, ROAS/CAC).
High attention to detail and solid prioritisation across many clients.

Nice-to-haves
Looker Studio dashboarding, Sheets proficiency.
Broader digital strategy exposure (SEO, CRO, email/SMS).
Familiarity with policy compliance on Google and Meta.

Tools
Google Ads, GA4, GTM, Merchant Center; Meta Ads Manager, Commerce Manager; Looker Studio/Sheets.

Engagement
Contract / part-time, NZT overlap. Hours and start date to be confirmed with the client.

Success measures
Stable or improving ROAS/CPA, accurate budget pacing, clear monthly insights and next actions, and tidy account hygiene.
