Church Stage/Wall Design for Live Streaming

Stage Dimensions: Height – 9 ft | Width – 25 ft
We’re seeking a stage designer or visual designer with experience in church stage design, live event backdrops, or broadcast-ready environments. Our church is looking to update the background of our main stage to improve how it appears on camera during live streaming, photography, and in-person services.

The goal is not to rebuild or reconfigure the stage structure, but rather to create a visually cohesive and non-reflective backdrop that complements our worship setting and lighting system.

Design Brief & Vision

We’ve attached photos of our current setup to give a clear reference point. The current white wall causes reflection issues under lighting and lacks visual depth on camera.

We’re looking for:

A clean, modern, and reverent backdrop that enhances the worship experience both in person and online.

A non-reflective finish or texture that works well with lighting and avoids glare.

Visual interest that feels timeless — possibly using wall panels, textured paint, fabric backdrops, or dimensional elements (within budget).

The design should work harmoniously with our existing red-burgundy flooring (note: flooring will remain as-is for now but may eventually transition to wood tones).

Optional: subtle integration of elements that complement our church color palette (provided as reference).

Deliverables

Moodboard or visual concept options (2–3)

Final digital rendering/mock-up of proposed stage backdrop (front view)

Material recommendations (paint, panels, wall fabric, vinyl wrap, etc.)

Lighting notes (if applicable)

Optional: Vendor or sourcing suggestions for affordable materials/fabrication

Ideal Designer

Experience with stage design, church design, or live event environments

Understands lighting, camera framing, and texture/material interaction

Can work creatively within fixed structural limits (no reconstruction)

Strong eye for modern simplicity with spiritual warmth

Stage wall dimensions: 9 ft (height) × 25 ft (width)

Lighting: Basic wash and colored uplighting (no advanced LED wall setup)

Current setup: Central wooden cross, red carpet, existing sound/keyboard area

Budget: Open to proposals based on deliverables

Timeline: 2–3 weeks preferred
