Web Designer [Figma Experience Essential]

Location: Remote (Must be available for a minimum of 2-3 hours during UK hours for communication/calls)
Type: Full-time (Following a short initial trial period)
Pay: $8/hour on trial basis, with rates increasing accordingly based on skill & capabilities.

We’re on the hunt for a talented Website Designer to join our small team and contribute to websites that are not only beautiful but conversion-focused and easy to manage for our clients.

As a tight-knit team, we work closely and collaboratively, so we're looking for someone who is not only technically skilled but also proactive, communicative and genuinely cares about doing great work.

What you’ll do:

- Drive the design process from initial concepts to final mockups
- Create user-friendly websites that are on brand, visual and high-converting
- Complete design research, wireframing and creative exploration on every project
- Consult on design strategy to ensure UI/UX is tailored to specific company requirements
- Using Relume for efficient site structuring and scalable component libraries.
- Collaborate with our team via Slack, email, and regular video calls to align on goals and client feedback.
- Designing pixel-perfect, mobile-optimised websites and handing over to our developers
- Iterate on designs based on feedback from internal reviews and client input

We’re looking for:

- 3+ year experience
- Must be proficient in Figma (with a strong grasp of auto-layout, components and responsiveness)
- Strong attention to detail and a clear understanding of what makes websites not just pretty, but conversion-focused.
- Solid communication skills in fluent English; we value open discussion and feedback.
- Experience in motion design, animation & illustration is an added advantage
