JOB OVERVIEW

About the Role
We’re looking for a Junior Web Developer to help us maintain, troubleshoot, and build on our marketing websites across multiple brands. The technologies in use are WordPress, ClickFunnels, Kit (formerly ConvertKit), Everflow, Kajabi, and similar tools. You’ll handle incoming technical tickets from various teams via ClickUp and Slack. This role is suited to someone who thrives on solving problems, keeping websites running smoothly, and optimizing digital infrastructure.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Ongoing Maintenance & Troubleshooting
- Resolve common site issues (WordPress plugin and theme issues, JavaScript conflicts, plugin errors, contact form problems, etc.)
- Perform regular updates to themes, plugins, and WordPress core
- Monitor and address performance issues (e.g., slow-loading pages, bloated plugins)
- Troubleshoot server-side issues (e.g., 500 errors, database errors)


Front-End & UX Fixes
- Tackle layout or design problems
- Ensure visual consistency across devices and browsers
- Identify and fix bugs (broken links, 404s, misfiring scripts, etc.)


Integrations & Tracking
- Add and debug scripts like Facebook Pixel, GTM, GA
- Connect websites to third-party platforms (e.g., CRMs, email marketing tools)
- Resolve integration issues with external apps


Advanced Tasks & Optimization
- Review and improve site memory usage and plugin efficiency
- Identify and debug custom code issues (PHP, JS, CSS)
- Ensure compatibility with core WordPress updates
- Optimize automation workflows for publishing and managing content


Qualifications
- Solid experience with full stack WordPress development
- Familiarity with troubleshooting and resolving plugin and theme conflicts
- Experience working with GTM, GA, and other marketing tools
- Understanding of performance optimization and server diagnostics
- Strong attention to detail and proactive problem-solving attitude
- Experience with ClickUp or similar project management tools
- Comfortable using Slack for daily team communication
