The Ads Assistant will play a critical role in the success of Punchmark’s digital advertising department. This position supports the Digital Marketing Manager by managing, optimizing, and analyzing paid ad campaigns across Google and Meta platforms. The Ads Assistant will focus on campaign execution and performance tracking, freeing up strategic bandwidth for higher-level planning and growth initiatives.
This role is ideal for someone detail-oriented, data-driven, and passionate about digital marketing performance.
Core Responsibilities:
Google Ads Campaign Management
Support setup, monitoring, and optimization of Search, Display, Shopping, and YouTube campaigns.
Assist in conducting ongoing keyword research, refine targeting, and manage negative keywords.
Write and edit ad copy; maintain consistent tone and relevance across campaigns.
Track KPIs including CTR, CPC, conversions, and ROAS; assist with reporting and analysis.
Meta Ads Campaign Management
Assist in building and optimizing campaigns across Sales, Traffic, Engagement, and Lead objectives.
Adjust creative assets, targeting, and budget pacing under the Digital Marketing Manager’s direction.
Coordinate A/B testing of creative and copy to identify top-performing ads.
Compile monthly performance summaries for client reporting.
Ad Account Maintenance & Organization
Maintain naming conventions, UTM parameters, and organized asset libraries.
Monitor pixel accuracy, conversion events, and tracking functionality across all client accounts.
Cross-Department Collaboration
Partner with the Digital Marketing Assistant on creative design requests and SEO-aligned ad content.
Support data collection for quarterly reporting and presentations.
Communicate with account managers or clients as needed for ad-related deliverables.
Additional Responsibilities (as time allows):
Assist in Klaviyo or HubSpot integrations for remarketing campaigns.
Conduct competitor ad research and trend monitoring to inform strategy.
Qualifications
1–3 years of experience in digital marketing or paid advertising (agency experience preferred).
Familiarity with Google Ads, Meta Ads Manager, and performance analytics tools.
Understanding of conversion tracking, audience targeting, and campaign structure.
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
Excellent written communication and reporting ability.
Comfortable in a fast-paced environment managing multiple campaigns simultaneously.
