AUTO MECHANIC

Job Summary:

The Auto Mechanic is responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining various types of vehicles to ensure safe and efficient operation. The role involves performing preventive maintenance, troubleshooting mechanical and electrical issues, and ensuring compliance with company and safety standards.

Duties and Responsibilities:

Inspect, diagnose, and repair vehicle mechanical and electrical systems (engine, transmission, brakes, suspension, etc.).

Conduct routine maintenance such as oil changes, tune-ups, tire rotations, and brake servicing.

Use diagnostic tools and equipment to identify vehicle issues accurately.

Repair or replace worn-out or defective parts and components.

Ensure all repairs meet quality and safety standards.

Maintain cleanliness and organization of tools, equipment, and work area.

Prepare service reports and record all work performed.

Follow occupational safety procedures and company policies.

Coordinate with supervisors and clients regarding vehicle issues and maintenance schedules.
