Social Media Marketing Manager – Task List

Community Engagement

1. Send a **personalized welcome message** to every new follower on **Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, and YouTube.**
2. **Respond to all comments** under posts in a professional, friendly tone.
3. **Delete negative or inappropriate comments** immediately after review.
4. Be **active daily on all pages**:

* Engage by liking and replying to followers.
* Add polls or call-to-action stickers **if none were posted that day** (stories are managed by Yasmin).
5. Engage on **other pages, groups, and posts** where potential clients might be found — especially those related to:

* Skincare
* Acne treatment
* Dark spot correction
* Darker skin care
* Laser hair removal
* Med spa and aesthetic clinic communities
6. **Post daily on Leila’s Thread account** to maintain consistency and engagement.
7. **Encourage clients** to post their before/after results or clinic experience using ML Aesthetic’s branded hashtags (e.g., #MLGlowUp, #MLResults).
8. **Engage with local forums** for dermatologists and med spas to build visibility and authority.
9. **Reach out to barbershops in Montreal and Greater Montreal** to propose collaborations or joint promotions for men’s skincare and grooming.
10. Organize **quarterly contests or giveaways** (e.g., win a consultation or treatment) to grow engagement and collect new leads.

Direct Messages (DMs)

1. **Monitor all incoming DMs** daily across all platforms.
2. Only reply when necessary — the **automated bot handles most messages**.
3. **Review bot responses** and step in if there’s a risk of losing a potential sale.
4. Take **notes of important details** from DMs or comments and **create a task** for the in-clinic team if follow-up is required.

1. Create **high-converting ad campaigns** on:

2. **Monitor ad performance daily**, analyze weekly, and report on:

* Leads generated
* Engagement rate
* Cost per lead/acquisition
3. Continuously **optimize ad targeting, creatives, and captions** based on performance insights.
4. **Repurpose all vertical videos** for **YouTube Shorts** and **Pinterest Idea Pins** to expand visibility and SEO.
5. Develop and propose **new marketing ideas and collaborations** aligned with the ML Aesthetic brand.
6. **Look for local micro-influencers in Montreal** within the beauty, skincare, acne, and dark spot niches for collaboration opportunities (1k–20k followers).
7. Build relationships and collaborate with **barbershops**, **local wellness brands**, and **aesthetic communities** for joint campaigns or cross-promotions.

1. Implement and manage a **CRM Retention Loop** to improve long-term conversion and reactivation.
2. Set up and maintain **automated email and SMS drip sequences** that:

3. Prepare and deliver a **monthly performance report** including:

* *“Glow Season”* (spring/summer prep)

3. Create visuals, hashtags, and mini-campaign calendars for each.
4. Collaborate with the clinic and design team to align each campaign with promotions or in-clinic events.

5. Participate in **weekly marketing syncs** with the clinic team to align strategies, promotions, and goals.
