Are you a creative and fast-paced video editor and graphic designer with a talent for creating scroll-stopping social media content? We are a leading UK-based property events company and membership organisation looking for a skilled Virtual Video Editor and Digital Graphic Designer to join our team remotely.

About the Role

As our Video Editor and Digital Graphic Designer, you will be responsible for creating high-quality, engaging visual content that captures attention and drives engagement across our social media platforms. You'll transform raw footage and concepts into polished reels, videos, and graphics that showcase our property events and attract new members.

Key Responsibilities

Video Editing

• Edit high-quality short-form videos and reels for Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, LinkedIn, and YouTube
• Create dynamic, fast-paced content optimized for social media algorithms and mobile viewing
• Add motion graphics, captions, transitions, and effects to enhance viewer engagement
• Repurpose longer event footage into bite-sized clips for maximum reach
• Ensure brand consistency across all video content

Graphic Design

• Design eye-catching social media graphics, posts, and carousel content
• Create promotional materials for property events (digital flyers, banners, stories)
• Develop branded templates for consistent visual identity
• Design thumbnails for YouTube videos and email marketing assets
• Produce infographics and visual content that simplifies complex property concepts

Content Production

• Work quickly and efficiently to meet tight deadlines and content calendars
• Collaborate with the marketing team to understand campaign objectives
• Stay current with social media trends and adapt content style accordingly
• Maintain organized file management and content libraries

Requirements

Essential Skills

• Proven experience as a video editor with a strong portfolio of social media content (reels, short-form videos)
• Expert proficiency in video editing software (Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, DaVinci Resolve, or CapCut)
• Advanced graphic design skills using Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, After Effects)
• Experience with Canva for rapid content creation
• Strong understanding of social media formats, dimensions, and best practices across platforms
• Ability to work at speed without compromising quality
• Excellent eye for composition, colour, typography, and visual storytelling

Desirable Experience

• Experience in events, property, or membership-based organizations
• Motion graphics and animation skills
• Knowledge of current social media trends and viral content formats
• Basic photography and videography skills
• Understanding of platform-specific content strategies (Instagram vs. TikTok vs. LinkedIn)
