Hello developers!
We are looking for a full time or part time developer skilled at Laravel and/or VueJs/Vite. Additionally, we use TypeScript, but that can be learned. Medior-senior level preferred. Space for further self-development and education will be provided.
What this job brings to you:
* A small, friendly company atmosphere
* Flexible working hours (output > clock time)
* Four other Filipino teammates
* Dedicated time for learning and self-development
* Startup projects with great growth potential
* Exposure to advanced architecture and clean code practices
* The ability to influence real product direction
Our Stack:
* Backend: Laravel, PHP 8+, MySQL
* Frontend: Vue 3, Vite, TypeScript, Node
* Tools: npm, Composer, Git (Sourcetree), Docker (optional)
What you should know:
* You don’t need to know everything on day one — but these are the concepts we value:
* Solid understanding of OOP, SOLID, IoC, and design patterns
* Experience with Laravel’s core: routing, service providers, controllers, validation, DB builder
* Familiarity with Vue 3: SPA concepts, reactivity, routing, and state management (Pinia or Vuex)
* Communicative English and reliable internet connection
We value active learners over perfect skill matches — if you’re curious, you’ll fit right in.
Practical considerations:
* CET timezone overal, ideally PH evening time, where most of the team like to work
* Flexibility is double edge sword, describe your preferences and work habbits
We prefer active learners to hard skills. It is ok if you don't have all the listed skills. In your letter, please highlight your strong parts. Your work can be more concentrated on FE or BE if you prefer one of those.
At this point, your hourly rate is important, because we are financing start up projects that dont generate money yet. However, after the launch, we will increase salary of all our tea
Please include in your cover letter
* Your strongest skills / experience areas
* Technologies you like working with
* Technologies you don’t enjoy much (be honest)
* Technologies you’d like to learn next
* Your preferred work culture (e.g. flexible hours, fixed schedule, initiative-driven, etc.)
* Your desired hourly rate
* (Optional) Links or samples of your PHP/Vue code
Include your desired hourly rate. If you have any code samples written in PHP/Vue, include them in the message. When you apply and we consider you among top candidates, we will send you a few simple tasks to demonstrate your skills.
Final:
A lot of freelancers don't read the job description and they send a generic cover letter to all positions. This type of response will be probably ignore and we may not respond. Please answer all questions from the above list.
Thanks!
Peter
