Assistant to the Therapist (ATTT) connects mental health professionals with trained virtual assistants who understand the specific needs of therapy practices — from client care to billing and administrative support.
We are hiring on behalf of one of our clients, a mental health private practice, seeking a Part-Time Virtual Assistant who can assist with billing, client intake, and administrative coordination.

Key Responsibilities
Billing & Insurance:
Manage and submit insurance claims (especially out-of-network billing).
Verify client insurance benefits and eligibility.
Prepare and send superbills; track reimbursements and unpaid claims.
Client Intake & Communication:
Answer incoming calls, return voi
Guide new clients through the intake process and follow up on forms or missing paperwork.
Help streamline the intake workflow for smoother client onboarding.
Administrative & Coordination Support:
Assist with therapist scheduling and session coordination.
Reach out to other offices for referrals or information sharing.
Maintain organized records and client data in EHR systems.
Provide light social media support or outreach as needed.
Qualifications
HIPAA Certified (required).
Familiarity with SimplePractice or similar EHR systems.
Experience in mental health or healthcare administration preferred.
Understanding of out-of-network billing and superbills.
Excellent communication and multitasking skills.
Detail-oriented, organized, and able to prioritize tasks effectively.
Comfortable working independently and maintaining confidentiality.
Hours & Pay
Starts part-time (around 2 hours per day) with the potential to expand to full-time.
Flexible schedule within U.S. business hours.
