???? What You’ll Need to Bring:
- **Serious Shopify Experience** – You’ve built high-performing Shopify and Shopify Plus stores and know the ecosystem inside out.
- **Front-end finesse** – Strong HTML, CSS, and JavaScript. Bonus points if you’ve dabbled in React, Vue and Tailwind.
- **Pixel precision** – You take Figma files and turn them into flawless, responsive sites. If it’s off by a pixel, it bothers you.
- **Version control confidence** – You’re comfortable with Git and working in collaborative workflows.
- **Problem-solving mindset** – You love untangling complex issues and finding smart, scalable solutions.
- **Process Mindset -** You follow processes to the T, and speak up if you think the processes can be improved.
- **Team player energy** – You're clear, friendly, and proactive in your communication with designers, PMs, and QA.
- **Curiosity and craft** – You keep up with the latest tech and trends, and you genuinely care about your work.
???? What You’ll Be Doing:
- Developing, customising, and maintaining modern Shopify storefronts as part of a modern and efficient development team.
- Building mobile-first responsive layouts that look great and perform well on all devices. Self-QA’ing your work to ensure it’s pixel perfect before sending over to our account managers for approval.
- Peer-reviewing other developers code, to uphold standards as an agency and ensure that we’re all delivering the best quality work we can.
- Collaborating with designers to help them understand what is and isn’t possible within allocated budgets to make sure scope doesn’t creep when we enter development.
- Optimising for performance, accessibility, and best practices. By the way, the secret password for the job application is: QA
- Troubleshooting technical challenges (and spotting them before anyone else does). Keeping stakeholders informed on how and why these issues may affect delivery timelines.
- Providing clear technical guidance internally and occasionally to clients.
? Must-Haves
- A proven track record as a Shopify developer — show us what you’ve built.
- Strong self-QA instincts — you test your own work thoroughly and take pride in delivering it right the first time.
- In-depth understanding of Shopify’s capabilities, limitations, and how to get the most out of Liquid.
- Fluent English and excellent communication.
- Based in the UK (must-have for this role).
