Estimator

Oceanview Building Group is a Florida-based general contracting company specializing in high end healthcare construction projects including dental, medical, and surgical offices. We pride ourselves on precision, innovation, and excellence in every build.

We are expanding our estimating department and seeking an experienced Estimator from the Philippines who has worked with U.S.-based construction companies and understands American construction standards, codes, and cost structures.

Responsibilities

- Review architectural and MEP plans to produce accurate takeoffs and cost estimates
- Work with our team to prepare detailed proposals, budgets, and bid packages
- Analyze labor, materials, and subcontractor pricing based on U.S. market rates
- Collaborate with project managers and the preconstruction team to refine estimates
- Update and maintain cost databases and templates for future projects
- Support the creation of progress billings and change orders when needed

Requirements

- Minimum 3+ years experience estimating commercial or healthcare construction projects for U.S. companies
- Strong understanding of CSI divisions, construction materials, and trades
- Proficiency with estimating software (e.g., Bluebeam, Planswift, On-Screen Takeoff, or similar)
- Ability to read and interpret architectural and engineering drawings

Excellent English communication and time management skills

Reliable computer, high-speed internet, and ability to work U.S. business hours (EST)

Preferred Skills

- Experience with Buildertrend or other project management software
- Familiarity with Florida or East Coast construction costs
- Previous experience working with medical or dental office build-outs
