Overview:
Seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Dispatcher & Trip Scheduler to coordinate Non-Emergency Medical Transportation (NEMT) trips through the Modivcare platform. The ideal candidate is organized, tech-savvy, and thrives in a fast-paced environment ensuring patients get to and from their appointments safely and on time.

Key Responsibilities:

Schedule, assign, and monitor daily NEMT trips via the Modivcare portal.

Communicate with drivers to ensure efficient routing, on-time pickups, and accurate trip completion.

Respond promptly to real-time trip changes, cancellations, and patient needs.

Verify trip authorizations, mileage, and compliance with Modivcare and NJDOH standards.

Maintain accurate trip logs, dispatch notes, and performance metrics.

Serve as a key contact for clients, drivers, and Modivcare representatives.

Qualifications:

Previous experience in NEMT dispatching or transportation scheduling (Modivcare experience preferred).

Strong multitasking and communication skills.

Proficiency with dispatching software, GPS tracking, and Microsoft Office.

Ability to manage high call volume and time-sensitive coordination.

Knowledge of NJ medical transportation geography a plus.
