Experienced Software Engineer- Javascript and Python

Our company is looking for a software engineer skilled with Javascript and Python to join our remote team supporting the setup and maintenance of product configurations for window coverings in Microsoft Dynamics 365.

This is a full-time position with an immediate start.

We are looking for someone with a software engineering or IT background and working experience. You will need to have programming experience, mainly working on formulas that are similar to Excel, Python and JavaScript.

You'll need to be very familiar with IF THIS, THEN THAT formulas to setup rules, exceptions and limitations for an Online Ordering system of Window Covering Products.

This is a full-time remote role working with our teams in Australia and New Zealand that will run for at least 6 months. We are happy to pay up to $15 USD/hour, based on your experience and expertise. Must be able to start immediately.

More of What You’ll Do:

Configure and maintain product rules, pricing, and components in our online ordering system.

Develop and manage formulas (similar to Excel, Python, or JavaScript “IF THIS, THEN THAT” logic) to support complex product selection and customisation.

Support manufacturing and pricing data accuracy, including BOMs and shopfloor routing.

Provide technical support to internal teams and ensure system configurations are up-to-date and reliable.

Test and implement configuration updates with clear documentation and stakeholder communication.

What We’re Looking For:

Background in Software Engineering, Computer Science, or IT.

Some programming experience (e.g. Python or JavaScript), but this is not a full development role.

Experience with systems or application configuration.

Excellent problem-solving and logical thinking skills.

High attention to detail and strong communication skills.

Experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 and manufacturing environments is a definite advantage.

Must be an excellent communicator, fluent/advanced in English, able to work well in a team.
