Do you want to build something teachers will love? Join Ashford &?Dunbar Educational Services as we create the “Harvard of teacher professional development.” We’re two educators on a mission to reinvent how teachers learn—through beautiful design, modern interactivity and true respect for educators’ time. Your creativity and craftsmanship will shape every pixel of our platform and help transform classrooms across the nation.
What You’ll Do
• Design stunning page layouts and user flows that reflect our premium brand (gold &?royal?blue palette, clean, modern aesthetic).
• Build responsive web pages using HTML/CSS/JS (Webflow or WordPress a bonus).
• Invent interactive elements—chat?style guides, micro?quizzes, video sections—that keep educators engaged.
• Craft compelling hero sections and calls?to?action for pages like Home, About, Services, Courses and Contact.
• Select or commission authentic teacher imagery and modern studio visuals; maintain consistent typography and spacing.
• Collaborate directly with the founder; iterate designs based on feedback and user testing.
• Deliver polished style guides, prototypes and final assets for development.
What You Bring
• A strong portfolio of responsive web designs that demonstrates a mastery of UI/UX principles.
• Proficiency in Figma (or similar) and solid coding skills in HTML, CSS, JavaScript.
• A knack for balancing visual elegance with practical functionality; you understand colour theory and can apply a 60/30/10 colour?usage rule for clean composition ?.
• Experience designing interactive learning elements (quizzes, videos, animations).
• Clear communication, attention to detail and the ability to meet deadlines.
• Ed?tech or e?learning experience is a plus but not required.
Compensation & Hours
• Project?based contract with potential for ongoing, long?term work if the quality of service is high.
• US$150–$200 per week, depending on experience (capped at $200/week).
• Approx. 10–20 hours per week with flexible scheduling.
