AI Automation Engineer with CRM Integration Skills

You'll be responsible for creating end-to-end automation systems that eliminate manual work and enhance business efficiency. Your work will involve connecting multiple platforms—CRMs, spreadsheets, document generators, email systems, and AI tools—into cohesive, intelligent workflows that run automatically.
Every project will be unique, requiring you to understand client needs, architect solutions, and implement reliable automations that deliver consistent results.
Core Responsibilities
Automation Development

Design and build complete workflow automations using platforms like Zapier, Make (Integromat), n8n, or similar tools
Connect multiple systems together (CRMs, databases, spreadsheets, email platforms, cloud storage, APIs) to create seamless data flows
Implement AI-powered decision-making and data processing within automated workflows
Ensure automations are robust, error-handled, and perform reliably at scale

CRM & Data Management

Integrate and configure CRM platforms
Extract, transform, and route data between systems automatically
Set up dynamic data enrichment and processing workflows
Manage data quality and validation within automated processes

AI Integration & Prompting

Leverage AI tools (ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, etc.) within automation workflows
Write effective prompts that consistently produce desired outputs
Build systems where AI analyzes data, generates content, or makes recommendations
Optimize AI interactions for speed, cost, and quality

Document & Report Automation

Automate the creation of professional documents, reports, and presentations
Dynamically populate templates with data from various sources
Generate personalized content at scale using AI and data integration
Format and deliver outputs automatically via email or cloud storage


Email & Communication Automation

Set up automated email sequences and notifications
Integrate email platforms with other business systems
Create conditional communication workflows based on data triggers
Ensure deliverability and proper formatting of automated communications

Client Collaboration & Problem Solving

Understand client business processes and identify automation opportunities
Translate requirements into technical solutions
Troubleshoot issues and optimize existing automations
Document your work clearly for future reference and maintenance

Required Qualifications
Technical Experience:

Extensive professional experience building workflow automations
Strong expertise with automation platforms: Zapier, Make, n8n, Power Automate, or equivalent
Proven experience integrating CRM systems and managing data workflows
Advanced AI prompting skills – you understand how to get consistent, quality outputs from AI tools
Hands-on experience with document generation and dynamic content creation
Working knowledge of APIs, webhooks, and system integrations
Demonstrated ability to build complete solutions from concept to deployment
Able to onboard clients and fix issues that may arise

Technical Knowledge:

Comfortable working with spreadsheets, databases, and data transformations
Understanding of data formats (JSON, CSV, XML) and data manipulation
Familiar with conditional logic, filters, and error handling in automation tools
Experience with email platforms and deliverability concepts
Basic understanding of how different software systems communicate
