YouTube Video Editor – Cinematic Documentary Style (Vox / ColdFusion / Wendover Tone)

We’re looking for a skilled, reliable video editor who can bring narration-driven storytelling to life in a cinematic documentary format — similar to Vox, ColdFusion, and Wendover Productions.

This is a long-term opportunity for consistent monthly work (5–10 videos per month).
Each video will average 8–10 minutes, with narration and creative direction already provided.

You’ll work with a structured process:
? Completed voiceover
? Two-column editor script (voice + visual direction)
? Creative notes for tone, pacing, and color

???? Responsibilities

Edit 8–10 minute YouTube videos in a cinematic, documentary format

Sync narration/voiceover with story-driven pacing

Source and integrate stock footage (1950s–1990s / pre-digital office visuals)

Add background music (nostalgic piano, ambient tones) and subtle sound effects (typewriter clicks, paper, clock sounds)

Apply color grading and smooth transitions to maintain visual tone

Add simple motion graphics or text overlays when needed

Deliver YouTube-ready video (1080p or 4K, balanced audio, clean export)

???? Qualifications

2+ years experience editing narration-based videos or YouTube documentaries

Strong sense of story pacing, rhythm, and emotional tone

Proficiency in Premiere Pro, DaVinci Resolve, or Final Cut Pro

Familiarity with royalty-free stock sources (Pexels, Storyblocks, Envato, Artgrid, etc.)

Creative understanding of color and light grading

Good communication and consistent turnaround time
