YouTube Video Editor

Hi, my name is Frey and I’m looking for a video editor to help me edit long-form educational YouTube content.

If you have experience editing educational, business, or podcast-style videos, I’d love to see your previous work and find out if we’re a good fit.

What I’m Looking For:

1. Experience with long-form content — ideally business or educational content, or business-style podcasts.
2. Focus on clarity and education — I’m not looking for overly flashy or fast-paced editing in the beginning. The goal is to make the content engaging while keeping the focus on what’s being taught.
3. Subtle visuals and effects — someone who can thoughtfully add small visual touches or graphics that help explain complex topics and improve viewer understanding.
4. Short-form repurposing skills — it’s a plus if you can edit or repurpose long-form videos into YouTube Shorts or TikTok clips.
5. Interest in business and marketing — bonus points if you’re familiar with SEO or enjoy content related to online business and entrepreneurship.
6. Adobe Premiere Pro proficiency — familiarity with Premiere Pro is required.
7. Thumbnail design skills — someone who can create simple, clean thumbnails inspired by top business and educational YouTube channels.

About the Role:

I’m looking for someone who’s interested in a long-term working relationship. To start, we’ll do a short two-week paid trial to make sure we’re a good match. During that time, I’ll send over raw footage so you can edit one or two videos in my current style.

If things go well, we’ll move into a long-term arrangement. I’m open to discussing pay raises, benefits, or health insurance after about six months of working together.
