We’re an independent dental education platform that serves thousands of dentists worldwide through our podcast, YouTube channel, online courses, and growing membership community.
We’re looking for a proactive, creative, and community-minded Social Media & Community Lead to help us grow our online presence and keep our global dental community engaged, supported, and inspired.
We’re not looking for someone who just waits for a content brief — we’re after a creative brain who can’t help but notice patterns and think, “Hey, what if we tried this?” or “Our reels are getting better reach than carousels, what if we did a weekly reel series?” or “I saw members chatting about X - let’s turn that into a post.”

This is a remote role with flexible hours and plenty of room to bring your ideas to life.
What You’ll Be Responsible For:
* Content Creation & Distribution
- Plan, film/edit, and publish YouTube Shorts, Instagram Reels, TikToks, and Stories
- Repurpose podcast episodes and longer videos into snackable clips
- Design on-brand Canva graphics for carousels, posts, and story slides
- Write captions that sound like a real human (because you are one!). We encourage using AI for efficiency, as long as you know how to edit out the “corporate poetry.”
- Schedule and publish content across YouTube, Instagram, TikTok, and
- Manage and respond to comments across all platforms
* Social Listening & Escalation
- Keep a close pulse on comments/DMs and reply promptly with empathy and clarity.
- Tag and route questions to the right person (Founder, Business Manager, tea
- Maintain a simple Questions & Ideas tracker of interesting things you spot — from social comments, DMs, or random posts in the community — so recurring questions or clever ideas don’t slip through the cracks.
* Community Management
- Welcome new members like you’re greeting a friend. Help them feel at home and part of something special.
- Start conversations, create polls, and spark meaningful discussions.
- Celebrate member wins (big or small!) and keep the space supportive, curious, and high-value.
- Respond to messages and comments warmly, and escalate to the team when needed.
- Comfortable with sending Loom videos or appearing on customer service/engagement videos (you are fine with showing your face)
* Campaign Support
- Collaborate on launches (courses, events, challenges) with countdowns, teasers, and FAQs
- Encourage participation in events and share member stories or highlights
- Repurpose testimonials and success stories (with permission) for social use
* Performance & Insights
- Track analytics across all social platforms (reach, engagement, follower growth, click-through)
- Share a monthly snapshot of what’s working and what to try next
- Use data to guide creative experiments and improve reach
* Brand Stewardship
- Keep the brand vibe alive - warm, geeky, and a little playful when the
- Spot trends in dentistry and general social media, and pitch fresh, timely ideas
- Lead our YouTube Shorts presence
What We’re Looking For:
- Previous experience managing social media accounts for a brand, creator, or content-driven business
- Strong grasp of social platforms: YouTube, Instagram, TikTok, and
- Hands-on content creation skills (editing, uploading, adding captions/titles)
- Proficiency in Canva or similar design tools
- Should be able to recognize and strip out typical AI phrasing (tapestry, navigate, harness, embark) and replace it with human, conversational copy
- Organized and consistent with managing content calendars and deadlines
- Analytical mindset for reviewing performance and adapting strategy
- Proactive communicator who takes initiative and brings creative ideas
- Reliable, independent, and comfortable working remotely
- Ability to work some overlapping hours with the UK workday
Nice to Have (Not Required, But Great If You Do):
- Familiarity with Mighty Networks or other online community platforms
- Background in dentistry, healthcare, or education
