Position: Remote Drafter

Position Overview: As a Remote Drafter at Identity Architects, you will play a crucial role in our design projects by utilizing your analytical skills and meticulous attention to detail to deliver high-quality architectural solutions. You will work closely with our team of architects and designers to create innovative and functional designs that meet our clients' needs and exceed their expectations.

Qualifications:
• Associate degree or certificate in drafting, architecture, engineering technology, or related field.
• A minimum of 2-years proven experience as a Drafter and or Architectural design experience
• Works independently on architectural design tasks with moderate supervision
• Experience working on architectural projects, ranging from space planning to construction
• Possesses strong written & verbal communication skills
• Experienced with fast-paced project turn-around
• Remote work experience (Teams, screen-share, etc.)
• Familiarity with space programming
• Proficient in Autodesk & Revit
• Strong organizational skills, ability to prioritize and multi-task

• Collaborate with the architectural team to execute design projects with an unwavering commitment to accuracy and detail
• Follow established guidelines and regulations to ensure compliance with industry standards
• Take a methodical approach to design tasks, focusing on achieving consistently reliable results
• Communicate in a factual and direct manner

• Provide drafting support on miscellaneous project types for the schematic design team
• Assist with project design and preliminary design approval process
• Develop creative design concepts for projects
• Prepare presentations and design drawings
• Documents projects using firm standards
• Research municipal codes, zoning ordinances, and other miscellaneous development regulations
• Translate sketched details, sections, and notes into working drawing sheets
• Draft floor plans and elevation drawings
• Assist with organization/ preparation for presentation meetings
• Correspond regularly with supervisor & design team
• Receive direction from senior design staff and efficiently follow through with minimal supervision
• Organize data tables with information such as square footage, acreage, & parking counts
• Utilize computer-aided design (CAD) software such as AutoCAD, Revit, or similar tools to produce accurate and precise drawings.
