Our episodes are distributed on YouTube and major audio platforms, and we’re looking for a skilled editor to help bring our content to life visually.

???? Job Description

We’re looking for a reliable, detail-oriented video editor to work with us on a project basis. You’ll be responsible for taking raw podcast recordings and turning them into clean, engaging final episodes for YouTube.

Your main tasks will include:

Trimming and assembling podcast recordings into cohesive episodes

Adding branded intro/outro titles and lower-thirds (we’ll provide templates)

Cutting out pauses, tangents, or parts where the conversation doesn’t flow well

Syncing multiple camera angles or audio tracks (when applicable)

Exporting and delivering the final file optimized for YouTube

???? What We’re Looking For

Solid experience editing long-form podcasts, interviews, or talk shows

Proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut, DaVinci Resolve, or similar

Strong sense of storytelling and pacing — able to keep conversations engaging

Excellent attention to detail (e.g., cutting out dead air, smooth transitions)

Reliable communication and ability to meet agreed deadlines

Familiarity with YouTube formatting and export settings

? Bonus Skills (Nice to Have)

Basic motion graphics for titles and captions

Experience creating short highlight clips for social media (Reels/Shorts)

Familiarity with English conversational editing nuances

Project-based: Pay per edited episode (lengths vary between 45–90 minutes)

Potential for consistent work as our production ramps up

Flexible hours, as long as deadlines are met

Communication via Slack or email
