About the Role
We’re looking for a highly skilled Virtual Assistant with expertise in spreadsheets, finance, and bookkeeping to take ownership of a key internal project. This role will focus on building and maintaining a robust financial tracking system — including pro forma financial statements — that gives us clear insight into the financial health of our company.
Hours & Commitment
Approximately 8–10 hours per month for maintenance, updates, and reporting.
We’ll also hold regular meetings to review the spreadsheet, analyze financial performance, and make adjustments together.
Key Responsibilities
Build and manage comprehensive financial spreadsheets based on the owner’s vision.
Develop and maintain pro forma financial statements and projections.
Maintain and update financial records, reports, and dashboards.
Track income, expenses, and other key metrics to ensure accurate reporting.
Provide insights and recommendations based on data analysis.
Assist with bookkeeping tasks as needed.
What We’re Looking For
World-class Excel/Google Sheets skills (advanced formulas, pivot tables, charts, automation, and data visualization).
Strong understanding of finance, budgeting, bookkeeping, and financial forecasting/pro forma modeling.
Ability to translate ideas and business goals into functional, intuitive spreadsheets.
Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
Strong communication skills for clear updates and collaboration.
Nice to Have
Experience with financial modeling or dashboard creation.
Familiarity with accounting software (QuickBooks, Xero, etc.).
Have experience building Pro Forma.
