About Us
We are a growing travel and lifestyle brand with a mission to showcase the best of Hawaii and beyond. We’re looking for a Social Media Specialist who can bring creativity, strategy, and execution together to grow our digital presence. This is a full-time, remote role where you’ll work closely with our Managing Director to create impactful campaigns that engage audiences and build community.

We are only looking for proven social media experts. If your background is primarily in SEO, website management, or general marketing, this role will not be the right fit.

What You’ll Do
As our Social Media Specialist, you’ll
- Develop and manage content calendars across Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, and Facebook
- Schedule and publish posts using Meta Business Suite and Metricool
- Design on-brand graphics for posts, campaigns, and promotions
- Engage daily with our community by responding to comments, reviews, and direct messages
- Implement creative engagement strategies like polls, contests, and collaborations
- Monitor trends, viral content, and platform updates to recommend new content opportunities
- Use tools like Frame.io for feedback and content review
- Manage escalation protocols for sensitive issues or PR concerns on social media and Google Business Profile
- Provide regular updates and insights on performance to leadership
What We’re Looking For
- Proven experience as a Social Media Specialist
- Strong understanding of major social platforms (Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, Facebook)
- Proficiency with Meta Business Suite, Google Business Profile, Metricool, and Frame.io
- Solid design skills using Canva, Photoshop, or Illustrator
- Excellent communication skills with a proactive and collaborative mindset
- Strong attention to detail and ability to stay on top of multiple campaigns
- Bonus: Familiarity with SEO concepts and tools like Semrush — not required, but an advantage if you can read digital trends and make recommendations

Role Details
Position: Full-Time, Remote
Hours: Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM HST
Reports to: Managing Director
