On-page SEO Specialist

Door & Gate Domination is a results-driven digital agency specializing in custom website design, development, and online marketing for the door and gate industry. We’re looking for a meticulous and skilled SEO On-Page / Technical Specialist to join our fully remote team.
This role is ideal for someone who thrives in both the strategic and technical sides of SEO—balancing on-page optimization, site structure improvements, and backend SEO configurations. If you’re passionate about increasing website visibility through clean code, smart keyword usage, and technical precision—this position is for you.

Key Responsibilities:
-Perform full on-page SEO optimizations including crafting compelling title tags, meta descriptions, and assigning appropriate focus keywords
-Conduct technical SEO audits to improve internal linking, optimize URL structures, and resolve crawl issues (404s, soft 404s, broken links, etc.)
-Manage and submit XML sitemaps, fix empty or duplicate meta descriptions, and improve crawlability in Google Search Console (GSC)
-Perform keyword research to identify high-potential terms and long-tail opportunities
-Implement and manage 301 redirects for moved/removed content and resolve redirect chains and loops
-Clean up outdated or broken redirects and ensure proper content routing
-Troubleshoot and apply structured data/schema markup, resolving rich snippet errors, and validate with Google’s Rich Results Tool
-Collaborate with the content team to write SEO-friendly blog posts that target relevant search intent and improve organic visibility

Qualifications:
-3+ years of experience in on-page and technical SEO
-Proficient with Google Search Console, Screaming Frog, Ahrefs, SEMrush, or similar SEO auditing tools
-Strong understanding of HTML, meta tags, sitemaps, and SEO best practices
-Experience managing redirects, site architecture, and resolving duplicate content issues
-Ability to conduct data-driven keyword research and apply findings effectively
-Familiarity with ---------- , structured data types, and rich result validation
-Strong English communication and writing skills
-Detail-oriented, analytical, and proactive in finding and fixing SEO issues

Nice-to-Have Skills:
-Experience with WordPress, Elementor, or Webflow
-Familiarity with Looker Studio, GA4, and ClickUp for reporting and task management
-Background in technical writing or blog content creation
-Previous experience working in a remote agency environment

Work Schedule:
-Full-time position (remote).
-Monday to Friday, 8 am to 5 pm CST
