- Overview
We’re looking for a Director of SEO who can lead both people and process. You’ll guide our SEO department across technical diagnostics, advanced fixes, content, and CRO. You’ll help shape how we work, keep the team aligned, and make sure quality, communication, and progress stay consistent.

This isn’t a task-based role. It’s a leadership position. You’ll own the system that keeps SEO delivery running smoothly and clients seeing real results. You’ll lead the team day to day, support growth, and collaborate with leadership to refine how we operate.

You’ll need strong technical understanding, clear communication, and the ability to manage complexity. You’ll see issues before they turn into fires and know how to fix them calmly and efficiently.

This position has a clear path to Head of SEO for the right person who can balance leadership, systems thinking, and accountability.

- How We Work
We run our projects in sprints. Every two weeks, we plan, deliver, and review as a team. SEO works closely with content, CRO, strategy, and project management. Each department has its own focus, but everything connects to client results.

- What You’ll Do
Lead and Support the Team
Lead the SEO team across all deliverables - audits, technical fixes, content optimization, and CRO insights. Review work for accuracy, provide feedback, and set expectations for quality. Be the person your team turns to for answers, clarity, and accountability.

Oversee Operations and Process
Manage SEO workflows through sprints. Balance workloads, track capacity, and make sure every task is reviewed before it goes out. Confirm that audits, diagnostics, and reports are consistent, detailed, and aligned with each client’s goals.

Collaborate Across Departments
Work with strategists to turn strategy into clear actions for the SEO team. Communicate with account managers and project managers to make sure client goals, updates, and performance stay aligned. Keep SEO integrated with content and CRO teams so campaigns move as one.

Drive Improvement and Quality Control
Track which clients are improving, which aren’t, and why. Get ahead of issues before they blow up. Help create and refine SOPs, templates, and systems that keep SEO scalable and predictable. Look for ways to automate, simplify, and improve efficiency.

Train and Scale the Team
Help recruit, onboard, and train new SEO tea ---------- mbers. Support growth for existing tea ---------- mbers through coaching and feedback. Build a culture where people communicate clearly, deliver consistently, and take pride in their work.
