Shopify Web Designer & E?commerce Specialist (Fashion Brand)

We’re a small fashion brand launching a stylish product line of just five items and we need a Shopify expert to build us a sleek, high?converting online store. You will be responsible for designing and configuring a simple yet professional Shopify site that reflects our brand identity and makes shopping effortless for our customers.

Responsibilities
• Set up and customize a Shopify store, including theme selection, design adjustments, and page layouts that enhance the look and feel of a fashion brand.
• Configure product listings for a small inventory (five SKUs), ensuring images, descriptions, and variants are presented clearly.
• Implement best practices for conversion: intuitive navigation, mobile?responsive design, streamlined checkout, and user?friendly payment and shipping options.
• Integrate necessary apps or plugins (e.g., analytics, reviews, basic email capture) without overcomplicating the site.
• Provide guidance on basic SEO and store settings to help the brand grow organically.
• Collaborate with the brand owner to ensure visual consistency and brand voice throughout the site, and hand over clear documentation for future maintenance.

Qualifications
• Demonstrated experience building and customizing Shopify stores, especially for small or emerging brands.
• Good eye for modern, fashion?forward design; ability to match the aesthetics of a brand.
• Knowledge of e?commerce usability and conversion principles.
• Understanding of Shopify’s built?in features and common apps; ability to recommend simple integrations that add value.
• Strong communication skills; able to explain technical decisions and provide updates during the project.

Working Conditions
• Remote, project?based or hourly contract.
• Flexible timeline, though we aim to launch promptly.
