Role Overview: The Medical Tech Assistant will play a crucial role in ensuring that our patients can seamlessly navigate technology to join a telehealth visit with our providers. This position requires an in-depth understanding of technology and explaining this to others, specifically the elderly population, with a customer service mindset. The ideal candidate will be highly organized, self-motivated, and able to communicate clearly and patiently.
Key Responsibilities:
-Manage a daily panel of patients who may need time-sensitive tech assistance
-Liaise with providers to ensure timely entry of patients to appointments
-Monitor Slack channels to ensure any tech issues are addressed
-Collaborate with the Outreach team on which patients need assistance
Requirements:
- Strong organizational and project management skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Reliable high-speed internet connection.
- Flexibility to work Monday through Friday, 9 am to 6 pm Eastern Time (US).
- Customer service experience, ideally with a tech component.
