Podcast & Video Editor

Hello! My name is Austin, and I run Fantum Growth, a creative studio that builds branding, decks, and websites for financial advisors and service-based founders. We also produce podcasts, video content, and social clips that help our clients show up like pros from day one.

I’m looking for a skilled Podcast & Video Editor to support our content production. This is a part-time, flexible freelance role at $5/hour, with potential for long-term work as we expand our media team. You’ll be editing podcast episodes, short-form clips, and other marketing content across a range of client and internal projects.

???? Podcast Editing

- Edit long-form episodes recorded on Riverside (audio + video)
- Remove filler words, background noise, and awkward pauses
- Add intros, outros, and background music
- Balance and clean up audio levels for a polished sound

???? Video Clips & Reels

- Cut short clips from podcasts and long-form recordings
- Add captions, headlines, and light effects for YouTube Shorts, Reels, and TikToks
- Use Opus, Caption AI, or Canva for fast and efficient clip creation
- Identify the most engaging moments that tell a story or hook the viewer early
- Export and organize files in the correct formats and aspect ratios

???? Tools & Workflow

- Familiarity with Riverside.fm is a big plus
- Keep files organized and projects clearly labeled
- Communicate effectively on revisions and meet deadlines

???? Required Skills & Experience

- 1+ year of podcast or video editing experience (or a strong sample portfolio)
- Strong understanding of pacing, storytelling, and clean audio
- Reliable internet connection and consistent turnaround time

We may ask shortlisted candidates to complete a short 10–15 minute test edit to assess editing style and attention to detail.
