Administrative Assistant – Legal & Debt Collection Support (Remote, Full-Time)
About Us:
We are Maryland’s premier eviction and rent court service partner for private landlords and property managers. We coordinate the entire process—from notice posting and filings to rent court appearance using intuitive tech and clear landlord education. We are a licensed collection agency regulated by the Office of Financial Regulation (not a law firm).
Role Overview
You will provide customer support to our clients via telephone and email as well as assist with assigned administrative tasks. You’ll manage documents, calendars, client and tenant communications, and follow-ups while maintaining strict compliance and impeccable record-keeping.
Key Responsibilities
Prepare, format, and quality-check rent court filings, notices, affidavits, and related forms.
Maintain digital case files and ensure accurate data entry across systems.
Track hearing dates, service windows, and deadlines; coordinate next steps with clients, and vendors
Handle professional email and phone communications with clients, vendors and other stakeholders.
Perform collections follow-up, log contact attempts, and assist with payment plans.
Research court schedules and verify filing requirements for Maryland jurisdictions.
Maintain compliance with FDCPA and Maryland rent court regulations.
Support improvements to internal templates, checklists, and SOPs.
Position Requirements
2+ years of experience in legal administration, property management, collections, or similar roles.
Excellent written and spoken English; professional communication skills.
Strong attention to detail, organization, and follow-through.
Proficiency with Google Workspace or MS Office (Docs/Word, Sheets/Excel, Drive).
Reliable internet and quiet remote workspace.
Familiarity with Maryland rent court processes or U.S. collection procedures is a plus.
Experience using Zoho, CRMs, or case management tools is preferred.

Tools You’ll Use
Google Workspace / Microsoft Office
PDF editing tools and spreadsheets
Zoho suite of applications.
CRM or case management systems (experience with Zoho is a plus)
Internal client portals for file uploads, e-signatures, and payments
Ring Central.


Schedule
Hours: Full-time, 40 hours per week (U.S. business hours, EST)
Monday- Friday 8:30AM-5:30PM
Compensation & Benefits
Probation (3 months): $600–$640/month ($3.75-4.00/hr)
Regular Tea ---------- mber: $ ---------- /month and up ($4.25- 4.75/hr) and up.
