Learning & Development Content Creator (Part-Time – 3 days per week)


At Mad Mex, we’re all about keeping it real, staying connected, adding a little cheekiness, and bringing the flavour to everything we do. We’re looking for a creative and passionate Learning & Development Content Creator to join our team part-time and help us spice up the way we train and develop our people.

This is a creative role where you’ll design, storyboard, script, and build engaging eLearning modules, instructional videos, and training assets to ensure Mad Mex remains at best practice and is an employer of choice. You’ll work closely with our Australian L&D team and help bring our training programs to life.

Job Responsibilities:
- Design and develop engaging eLearning modules (using Articulate Rise, Storyline, etc.)
- Create video tutorials, explainer clips, and scripts for training materials
- Manage and update our eLearning platform (World Manager / El Taco)
- Convert SOPs and operational updates into easy-to-understand learning content
- Maintain training documents (Recipe, Training and Build Cards)
- Support other departments with their training needs
- Ensure learning materials are creative, engaging, and on-brand

Qualifications/Skills Required:
- Minimum 2 years’ experience in digital learning or content creation
- Strong instructional design skills and creative approach
- Experience creating E-Learning modules is essential. Articulate experience a plus
- Experience and knowledge working with E-Learning platforms. World Manager experience is a plus
- Skilled in video editing (Movavi experience a plus)
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Organised, proactive, and able to meet deadlines
- Good communication and teamwork skills
- Hospitality or restaurant industry background is a plus
- Experience with AI platforms (bonus but not required)
