Freight Brokerage Operations Support / Hybrid Sales

Looking for a someone familiar with freight brokerages in the USA. We handle everything from expedited sprinters, straight trucks, dry vans, flatbeds, and LTL.

Should be fluent in English and have experience with DAT, truckstop, and sylectus. Should also be accustomed to fast paced environments where speed is critical and updates / responses to customers need to be handled within minutes not hours.

Tasks include : talking with drivers, emailing carriers and customers, texting drivers, providing rates, providing updates, critically thinking and understanding locations and how they might affect deliveries, etc.

If you have a previous book of business you can bring over we will pay you for this as an additional + hrly rate depending on profit they do per month.

Sales experience is also preferred.

We are a startup company that launched earlier this year and are still working on getting business through the door. Must be self motivated and be able to find things to do if they aren't being told what to do. Must be able to critically think as little mistakes can have major impacts on business ( using wrong terminology in emails, etc ).

Basic training will be provided. You will be one of the founders and will be treated and paid how you contribute to the team / leadership of the organization as we grow.

Must have 2-3 monitors, good internet with backup, fast with typing, good phone system, and an american accent is preferred.
