Vocalists Needed to Create Short Phone Recordings for Music App Launch

I’m building a new app called Dubsy, designed to help singers easily record and share covers straight from their phone. I’m a singer myself, so the goal is to make recording music simple, fast, and fun for artists on the go. You can check it out here:

We’re looking for singers who can record short cover videos using Dubsy to help showcase how it works. Everything can be done from your phone — no studio, editing, or extra equipment needed.

How Dubsy Works
In Dubsy, you can paste a YouTube link to your favorite song and the app will automatically remove the vocals so you can sing over the instrumental. It also includes built-in autotune and reverb, so your recording sounds great straight from your phone.

What You’ll Do
• Record one short cover (first verse and chorus) directly inside the Dubsy app
• Film yourself singing the same section acapella to the camera using your phone
• Create a short screen recording of your Dubsy playback (your voice + the instrumental)
• Send the shareable Dubsy link to your cover
• Share 1-3 Dubsy recordings to your TikTok daily

What You Need
• A iPhone/iPad (our app only works on Apple)
• Wired headphones that plug directly into your phone
• A quiet space and good lighting
• A friendly, natural on-camera presence

Compensation
- Monthly retainer TBD
- Each video takes about 15 minutes to make. If the first one goes well, I’d love to work with you on more covers.

Style
Keep it natural and fun, like a casual TikTok or Instagram video — nothing too polished or staged. The goal is to capture the real experience of using Dubsy.
