Project-Based Illustrator (Whimsical & Child-Friendly)

At Tashi Non-Stop, we create whimsical, interactive stories and playful learning experiences for children ages 4–10, especially those with ADHD, dyslexia, autism, or other learning differences.
Our mission is to make every visual feel like an invitation to play, imagine, and discover.

We’re looking for a Project-Based Illustrator who can refine and expand our existing art assets for the Tashi Non-Stop website. Your illustrations will help create a cohesive, storybook-like world that feels magical and engaging for both kids and parents.

What You’ll Do
• Refine and polish existing Tashi characters and background assets to match the brand’s visual direction.
• Create new whimsical illustrations for the website (headers, icons, buttons, section dividers, or scenes).
• Ensure all visuals feel consistent, high-quality, and aligned with neurodivergent-friendly design principles (minimal visual clutter, clear focus, warm tones).
• Work closely with the web designer to ensure illustrations integrate seamlessly with layouts and animations.
• Prepare scalable, web-optimized files (SVG or transparent PNG) ready for WordPress and LMS integration.
• Maintain the charm and inclusivity of the Tashi world — cheerful, curious, and comforting.

What We’re Looking For
• Proven experience as a Children’s Illustrator or Visual Designer (portfolio required).
• A strong sense of storytelling through color, composition, and character expression.
• Ability to adapt to an existing brand style while enhancing its visual appeal.
• Proficiency in Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, or Procreate (vector output preferred).
• Experience preparing assets for web use (responsive illustrations, optimized file sizes).
• Detail-oriented, reliable, and collaborative.

Nice to Have
• Experience illustrating for educational, neurodivergent, or kid-focused brands.
• Knowledge of animation hand-off (for hover effects or subtle micro-movements).
• Familiarity with Figma or web layout visualization.
