Part-Time SEO Content Strategist & Writer & Link Building Specalist

We are a growing small business deeply rooted in the local community of Mechanicsburg, PA, and we're looking for a skilled SEO Content Strategist & Writer to help us significantly expand our online visibility and authority. As a small team, this role is crucial to our success, focusing on building a powerful local presence and driving organic traffic. While this position starts Part-Time, we are looking for someone with the potential and desire to grow into a Full-Time role as we expand.

The Opportunity
Your primary mission will be to maximize our website's search engine authority, especially in Local SEO, to connect us with customers in our community. You will be responsible for the full content lifecycle, from keyword research and strategic planning to high-quality writing and targeted link building.

Key Responsibilities
1. Content Strategy & Planning
Conduct comprehensive keyword research to identify high-potential topics, with a strong emphasis on local search queries and long-tail keywords relevant to our business.

Develop and maintain a strategic content calendar to align with business goals and SEO opportunities.

Create detailed content briefs (including target keywords, competitor analysis, tone, and desired length) for all new content.

2. SEO-Optimized Content Writing
Write, edit, and proofread engaging, high-quality, and original content for our blog, website pages, and other marketing materials.

Ensure all content is meticulously optimized for search engines (on-page SEO), including effective use of titles, meta descriptions, headings, internal links, and image alt text.

Regularly audit and update existing website content to maintain accuracy and boost SEO performance.

3. Authority Building & Link Development
Develop and execute a proactive link-building strategy, focusing on acquiring high-quality, relevant backlinks.

Identify opportunities for link outreach, guest posting, and local partnership development to increase our domain authority.

Analyze competitor backlink profiles to identify and pursue potential link opportunities.
