Operations Manager

Overview:
We are an Amazon online arbitrage business seeking a disciplined Operations Manager to act as the glue of the company. The role focuses on bringing corporate-level structure, accountability, and reporting to a fast-moving team. You will work directly with the founder, coordinate the Lead Researcher and Purchasing Manager, and ensure work is organized, measured, and delivered on time.

Core Objectives (first 90 days):
Establish clear SOPs for all recurring workflows. Implement consistent reporting and task tracking so the team works on the highest-impact tasks. Reduce key?person dependency by documenting processes and creating reliable handoffs.

Primary Responsibilities:
Own day-to-day operations and ensure deadlines and deliverables are met. Create and maintain SOPs across research, purchasing, and supporting functions. Manage staff performance, set expectations, and hold tea ---------- mbers accountable. Translate company goals into actionable weekly and monthly plans. Coordinate hiring needs and role assignments as gaps are identified. Implement lightweight metrics and status reports to improve visibility and decision-making. Delegate tasks through Slack and ensure follow-through.

Team Structure:
Reports to the founder. Coordinates closely with the Lead Researcher (who manages a team of researchers) and the Purchasing Manager (who works with one assistant and occasionally leverages the research team).

Required Experience:
Proven experience with Amazon FBA or Amazon online arbitrage operations. Strong corporate or BPO-influenced work habits with emphasis on process, structure, and accountability. Track record managing teams and delivering outcomes with minimal supervision. Excellent written and verbal communication.

Tools:
Daily use of Slack. Internal ERP system will be introduced; willingness to improve tools and processes is expected.

Success Metrics:
Improved team efficiency and consistent progress against growth goals. Documented SOP coverage and reduced founder dependency for daily execution. Reliable reporting cadence and on-time task completion.

Compensation and Employment Type:
Full-time contractor. Base salary of USD 1,000/month, negotiable for exceptional candidates. Future bonus structure tied to KPIs and company performance.
