Land Underwriter & Data Specialist (Full-Time, Remote)

About Us:
We’re a growing land investment company that buys, sells, and subdivides land across multiple states. Our business runs on data — understanding what land is worth, where the best opportunities are, and how to reach the right sellers and buyers. We’re looking for a full-time Land Underwriter & Data Specialist to help us manage that process with precision and consistency.

Position Overview:
This role is ideal for someone who loves real estate analytics, mapping, and data management. You’ll play a key role in evaluating land values, managing marketing lists, and supporting both our acquisitions and dispositions teams. The right person will have strong attention to detail, comfort with spreadsheets, and experience working with property data tools.

What You’ll Do

Land Valuation (Comping):
Research and analyze vacant land to determine market value.
Use tools like Land Portal, Land ID or Zillow to pull and compare sales data.
Review property features such as access, zoning, utilities, and elevation.
Prepare value summaries and pricing recommendations for the acquisitions team.

Data Management:
Pull and clean landowner data from public sources and third-party platforms.
Skip trace, validate, and organize contact lists for texting and cold calling campaigns.
Manage data uploads into systems like Smarter Contact and Stride
Track performance metrics and recycle old lists for future campaigns.

Marketing Support:
Segment and organize lists for targeted outreach.
Coordinate with the marketing team to ensure all lists align with active buy criteria.
Maintain version control and documentation for all campaigns.

What We’re Looking For

Required Skills & Experience:
At least 2 years of experience in land or residential real estate, data management, or market analysis.
Strong understanding of land valuation and real estate comping.
Advanced skills in Excel or Google Sheets.
Familiarity with land specific software
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
