Highly Skilled YouTube Video Editor

I run multiple YouTube channels and am looking for a reliable right-hand person to help take on some of the editing workload. This role requires someone who is a problem solver, follows instructions carefully, and can take ownership of their projects.
This position can grow into long-term, full-time work if you consistently deliver high-quality results with pay increase.

Mainly will be long form youtube video but may have some short form videos to be edited for time to time


Responsibilities:

Edit 1–3 videos per week

Incorporate feedback and make revisions as needed

Add relevant motion graphics, text, and effects to enhance storytelling

Sync multiple camera angles and audio tracks

Source appropriate royalty-free music and sound effects

Source any other b-roll relative to the video that can be used safely within YouTube’s fair use guidelines

Final video must have a cinematic, polished, and professional finish

MUSTS:
-Fluent in English and grammar (for correcting and proof reading auto captions)
-Familiar with YouTube export settings and optimization
-Understands YouTube pacing and viewer retention
-Self-sufficient — takes initiative and solves problems independently
-Open to long-term work and growing with multiple channels
-Reliable with consistent communication and on-time delivery
-Be okay with editing Religious based content (Mainly Christianity)

Bonus:

Ability to design high-quality YouTube thumbnails

Use Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, Photoshop

Access to paid/premium stock footage accounts

Knows Biblical history and/or familiar with Christianity teachings
