JOB OVERVIEW

Responsibilities ( a lot of the below are automated within the organisation, the main focus will be the planning of content and execution on various channels Assisting and keeping the marketing colleague/ manager accountable - Autonomy and training provided for the write people as we know that none of us are perfect! )

• Perform online competitor research and analysis.
• Support the marketing manager and marketing team with daily marketing tasks and operations.
• Collect data, organize, and provide regular reporting on marketing activities and success metrics.
• Create social media content and manage the company’s social media pages.
• Draft copy for email campaigns.
• Creating and editing short videos for Reels, TikTok, Google business, Linked IN, Pinterest.
• Developing a well-organized and consistent social and email engagement program.
• Creating a content calendar and scheduling posts across social media accounts.
• Managing the company’s Facebook page, Instagram account, and LinkedIn Profile.
• Community lead engagement – responding to follower messages, interactions, and likes.
• Proactively messaging influencers, content writers or related companies via posting, emails or DM to increase social engagement and PR.
• Provide recommendations on social media strategies and regular reporting on activity and social engagement growth.
• Brainstorming new and creative growth strategies to grow social audiences.
• Assisting with Tradeshow event coordination and engagement strategies at trade shows.
• Tracking and reporting results of socially driven campaign
• Assist with the coordination of marketing events and promotions.



Requirements
• Provide a portfolio sample of previous content creation.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• At least two years of experience creating content for social media and managing social media accounts.
• Proficient in MS Office including Excel and Outlook., Windows, and Google tools.
• Bachelor’s degree in marketing or design/creative field.
• Previous experience with Shopify and Amazon platforms.
• Basic graphic design skills to create social media and website content
Bonus:
• Experience with advertising on social media platforms.
• Proficient in using social media management tools such as Hootsuite or Buffer.
• Experience in managing and leveraging platforms like Ebay, Amazon etc

Can be Part time (18-20 hrs) or Full time (40 hrs) or transition from part time to full time for the right candidate!
