About the Role:

We’re seeking a dedicated, organised, and patient-focused Remote Assistant based in the Philippines to join our healthcare and optical team. In this dual-role position, you’ll be responsible for managing patient communications, coordinating orders, issuing prescriptions, and supporting administrative tasks.

You will work full-time during UK business hours and must be available to work weekends as part of your standard schedule. This is a remote role requiring strong communication skills, tech proficiency, and the ability to handle tasks independently.

Key Responsibilities:

Professionally handle inbound calls and patient enquiries

Offer clear, accurate advice and information about appointments, treatments, and eyewear

Process and manage optical orders and coordinate delivery

Support prescription handling and follow-ups under clinician direction

Use Google Workspace (Docs, Sheets, Calendar) for scheduling and documentation

Communicate with the internal team via Slack

Manage support tickets using Freshdesk

Maintain strict patient confidentiality and data security

Perform general administrative and back-office tasks

Requirements:

Must be based in the Philippines

Excellent spoken and written English

Confident and professional on calls and video meetings

Previous experience in customer service, healthcare, or admin roles

Proficient with:

Google Workspace (Docs, Sheets, Gmail, Calendar)

Slack

Freshdesk or similar ticketing systems

Able to work UK hours (9 AM – 6:30 PM) and weekends

Strong, stable internet connection and quiet, distraction-free workspace

Familiarity with remote work monitoring tools like Teramind

Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and reliable

Preferred (Not Required):

Experience in optical clinics, medical practices, or telehealth

Understanding of optical products and prescription terminology

Background in remote support for international companies or teams
