Shopify developer

We are a local business running a Shopify store and are seeking an experienced Shopify Developer who can help us improve our storefront, optimize for conversions, and strengthen our digital marketing performance.

This role goes beyond simple product updates — we need someone who understands Shopify development, theme customization, app configuration, and site optimization, while also being capable of managing Google Ads, Google Analytics, and Local SEO strategies to drive measurable growth.

Responsibilities

Shopify Development & Store Optimization

Configure and customize Shopify apps/plugins (reviews, upsells, SEO tools, delivery).

Perform theme customizations (Liquid, CSS, JavaScript) for improved design and functionality.

Optimize storefront and checkout flow for higher conversion rates.

Improve site speed and performance using best practices.

Troubleshoot and resolve Shopify-related technical issues.

Google Ads & Analytics

Plan, set up, and manage Google Ad Campaigns.

Write and test ad copy, monitor results, and optimize campaigns for ROI.

Track performance using Google Analytics (traffic, conversions, user behavior).

Provide reports and actionable recommendations.

Local SEO & Google Business Profile

Optimize Google Business Profile (photos, posts, promotions, Q&A).

Implement on-page SEO strategies (meta tags, schema, internal linking).

Research and apply keyword strategies for local SEO visibility.

Track performance and suggest improvements.

Qualifications

Proven experience as a Shopify Developer (theme customization, Liquid, CSS/JS).

Strong understanding of conversion rate optimization on Shopify.

Skilled in Shopify app/plugin configuration and troubleshooting.

Proficiency in Google Ads campaign setup and optimization.

Experience with Google Analytics for performance tracking.

Solid knowledge of SEO best practices, with emphasis on local SEO.

Experience managing and optimizing Google Business Profile.

Strong English communication skills (written and spoken).

Organized, detail-oriented, and proactive problem solver.
