YouTube Shorts Video Editor (Top 5 Viral Clips)

I’m looking for a creative, reliable video editor to help produce high-engagement YouTube Shorts in a Top 5 format (funny animal clips, viral moments, trending content, etc.). The goal is to create fast-paced, watch-to-the-end videos optimized for Shorts, with strong hooks and smooth transitions.

Responsibilities:
-Edit 3 shorts per week (30-60 seconds each) in the "Top 5" format
-Add engaging text overlays & number counters (Top 5 -> Top 1)
-Use sound effects, background music, and editing to maximize engagement
-Ensure each video has a strong opening hook
-Deliver content in 9:16 vertical format optimized for Youtube Shorts
-Be consistent with branding style (colors, fonts, pacing, etc)
-NOTE: Clips will be provided. Editor DOES NOT need to source raw content.

Requirements:
-Proven experience editing short-form content (Youtube Shorts, TikToks, IG Reels)
-Ability to work quickly and deliver polished videos by deadlines
-Familiarity with viral trends and editing styles
-Access to editing software
-Strong understanding of pacing, retention, and viewer engagement
-Creative input welcomed. Looking for someone who knows how to make content pop
-Familiarity with meme-style editing, zoom cuts, captions that pop, and viral pacing is a big plus

Pay:
900 PHP per video (about $15), with 3 Shorts per week to start.
Long-term consistent work if quality is strong.
