JOB OVERVIEW

Overview
We are looking for Marketing VA to support our client, a private practice specializing in couples therapy. The practice offers private sessions and a content-based membership site, with plans to expand into individual course sales.
The client’s current team includes a Practice Manager, Technology Manager, SEO specialist, podcast production staff, and a LinkedIn engagement VA. They are now looking for a Marketing Manager to take charge of content strategy, execution, and growth initiatives.

This role is ideal for someone with strong marketing strategy skills, social media management experience, and excellent follow-through. If you’re creative, organized, and results-driven, this opportunity is for you.

Remote work
Schedule: Part-time 2 hours per day
Salary: $5/hr
Preferred Working Hours: Morning hours in the Eastern Time Zone (Monday–Saturday)

Responsibilities:
Content & Social Media Management
- Repurpose content (LinkedIn posts ? Instagram captions & other platforms).
- Create social media graphics (including carousels).
- Schedule social media posts and newsletters for a consistent content calendar.
- Develop and execute strategies to grow Instagram following and engagement.
- Create/manage blog posts, newsletters, opt-ins, and email sequences.
- Perform light video editing for Reels and short-form content.

Marketing Strategy & Operations
- Develop and maintain a cohesive marketing strategy.
- Manage tasks and workflows using Asana
- Oversee ActiveCampaign for automations, funnels, and sequences.
- Perform light updates on WordPress sites (Elementor).
- Track analytics and report on progress toward goals.

Administrative & Additional Support
- Assist with podcast guest outreach and scheduling.
- Catalogue and back up content for indexing and reuse.
- Scan HARO (Help a Reporter Out) for PR/media opportunities.
- Add and manage contacts from networking events on LinkedIn.

Qualifications
Must-Haves
- Proven marketing strategy experience (especially for Instagram growth).
- Excellent project management and follow-through skills.
- Proficient with Asana for workflows.
- Experience with ActiveCampaign or similar email automation tools.
- Strong content writing and design skills.

Nice-to-Haves
- Familiarity with WordPress (Elementor).
- Experience with WooCommerce and LearnDash.
- Light video editing skills.

Measures of Success
- Growth in Instagram followers and engagement.
- Growth of the email subscriber list.
- Increased sales of courses, memberships, and client sessions.
