SEO Specialist (Project-Based – Local SEO, WordPress, Yoast Premium)

We are looking for a skilled SEO Specialist to join our extended team on a per-project basis. If you can consistently deliver results, there will be ongoing projects for you.

Our immediate need is for a Local SEO optimization project for one of our clients.

Your Role
You’ll take ownership of SEO deliverables for client projects — with a strong focus on local SEO, WordPress optimization, and Yoast Premium setup.

Key Responsibilities
* Optimize WordPress websites (using Yoast Premium).
* Conduct local keyword research and create recommendations.
* Provide on-page SEO optimizations (meta, titles, schema, alt tags, internal linking).
* Perform technical SEO checks and implement fixes (speed, mobile, indexing).
* Build local backlinks/citations to improve authority.
* Provide a clear deliverables report at the end of each project.

Qualifications

* Proven success with Local SEO projects (must show results).
* Hands-on experience with WordPress & Yoast Premium.
* Google Business Profile optimization experience.
* Strong understanding of on-page, off-page, and technical SEO.
* Familiar with SEO tools (Google Search Console, Analytics, SEMRush/Ahrefs).
* Excellent written English for content optimization.

Engagement & Pay

* Per project/gig basis (not hourly).
* Rate will depend on project scope and will expect you to provide us a quote.
* Ongoing work available for reliable, proven SEO specialists.
