Electrical engineer

Role Overview
We are seeking an experienced Electrical Engineer (offshore) to support our Australian team with design, drafting, compliance, and project coordination. The role involves working with our engineers, project managers, and drafting staff to ensure every switchboard design meets Australian and international standards, client requirements, and project timelines.

Key Responsibilities
• Prepare and review switchboard designs, schematics, and layouts using AutoCAD Electrical and CUBIC design software.
• Conduct electrical studies using tools such as PowerCAD and Temcurve (load flow, discrimination, and thermal analysis).
• Ensure all designs comply with AS/NZS 61439, AS/NZS 3000, AS/NZS 3100, IEC 60947, and related standards.
• Assist in project management support: coordination of drawings, test reports, documentation, and client records.
• Collaborate with the Australian team to ensure accuracy, compliance, and timely delivery.
• Provide technical input for Motor Control Centres (MCCs), Main Switchboards (MSBs), Distribution Boards
